Additional Class/PerformancesAdditional Classes can be taken only if registration was done prior to the scheduled class. A student can sign up for one or more additional classes in a month. The additional class will either be same level or one level above. The advantage of additional class is that they get additional practice under the teacher's supervision. If attending a level higher, the additional class helps the student learn and observe higher level concepts and techniques. Overall it has a Fast Track effect. Payment for the additional class has to be done before attending the class. If the student is unable to attend the registered additional class, another alternate day can be selected. Additional Class/PerformancesPractice sessions for performances are not charged separately as of now. They are part of the monthly fees. Classes for performances are mostly separate from the regular class hours. Most events that we take our students to perform are ticketed. The parents are responsible to take tickets for the events. Costumes for semi-classical performances are usually provided and may have a rent associated with it. Once students start performing classical items, they will have their own sticthed costumes. For some programs they would rent out costumes too. Annual RecitalAll students of Takajum will get an opportunity to perform for the Annual Recital. This is a way for even the youngest performer to get experience being on stage and get them prepared for the road ahead. Students who are not yet ready for a pure classical perfomance will do a simpler semi-classical presentation according to their level (sloka or ganesha stuti etc). Annual Recitals are treated as a report card that shows the student's progress over the year. Some Annual Recitals maybe done in a production format that includes Theater Arts too. There is a non-refundable Annual Recital fees that is taken from all participants. |
